Our cottage is situated in Beffe-Rendeux. This is a small hamlet at 2 km of Hotton located in the southern part of Belgium. Beffe rises 660 feet above the valley and offers a breathtaking view on the surrounding landscape. Through the valley at a distance of about 800 yards flows the Ourthe, which can be reached by way of a steep (16%), though excellent macadamized road. You can go out fishing (licence required), go for a swim or Kayak. For information concerning sports and environs you can check out the elaborate info-site of Hotton. The nearby vicinity is especially ideal for young children, there’s hardly any traffic on the small, winding paths, so that there are no risks involved for them to play. Snow is assured during the winter because of the ridge which lies more then 2000 feet above sea level.
Renting a cottage an interesting alternative.
You can spend a lot of money on a hotel room and even in a luxury hotel a room is just a room... no more. Why not try something else? Spend your money on the vacation itself and enjoy the surroundings, restaurants or other activities. Our cottages provide more then just a place to sleep they are cozy and spacious with a lot of comfort and above all they offer privacy up to 6 guests for only a fraction of a hotel bill.
The house, Kiekeboe (5-6p.)
This charming house is very spacious (living space about 1450 square feet, incl garage), modern and is located on 8000 square feet of private ground. It offers space to a maximum of 6 people, has 2 bedrooms (1 big and 1 small ) with terrace and a sleeping attic for children. The bathroom contains a bathtub and a toilet. On the way down you go through a corridor which leads to a landing with a survey on the living room. On the ground floor there is a drawing room with a fireplace for cosy evenings and a kitchen with a bar and a dining-area. There is also a separate toilet and a hall from which you can get into the garage. In here you will find a ping-pong table at your disposal. During the summer you can open the double door in the living room so that you can walk straight into the garden.

Chalet Toeternitoe (4-5p.)
Charming cottage with about 1270 square feet space to live in (incl. garage), located on 8400 square feet of private terrain. Offers place for 4 (or max. 5) people and has two bedrooms. Bathroom with tub and toilet. Living room with fireplace, television corner and kitchen. Garage with a ping-pong table at your disposal.

lot a snow fun, BUT…! If there is a thick layer of ice on the road, then don’t
forget to bring snow chains with you to drive up and down the steep slopes. You
can’t move on without them! You can always park your car on the main road (80
yards away from the house), which is cleared all the time. Almost every other
road is in excellent condition during the winter. La roche-en Ardenne at 6 miles (town-center 7 miles), Hotton at 4 miles (town-center at 5 miles), Barveaux & Durbuy (smallest town in the
world) at 10 miles by way of side roads and at 16 km by way of the taller secondary
road. Baraque
de Fraiture is the third highest point in Belgium (2150 feet) and is only 8 miles away
from the house. You can get there very
US-tank, Beffe-Rendeux Villages, towns, regions in the Beffe/ Rendeux area well-worth visiting: A big plus and definite recommendation, especially to first time visitors from the UK, concerns the location of our cottages. The Belgian Ardennes is an exceptionally good place of departure to not only explore other cities and regions in our little country but discover our neighbouring countries as well. The Netherlands, Germany, the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, France, each of these countries can be reached within a couple of hours drive, take a look at our page
Inquiries
easily, simply by walking through the
forest with only one road to cross. In the winter you can go skiing. For
groceries there’s a supermarket at 1 mile open 7 day/week, but for larger
purchases you can go to Marche en Famenne (7 miles).

Are there any extra costs?
Guarantee 150€… Cleaning by tenant or if desired it can be done for 30€. Energy costs are deducted from the guarantee.
Electricity: daily rate at 0.20€… night rate at 0.12€ per Kwh Water: 2,50€ M³
Toeristtaxes: 0.37€/day for adults older then 12j.
